1. EzySt is a trading name of The Online Fuel Company Pty Ltd (“EZYST”). EZYST respects your privacy and understands your concerns about the security of your personal information. EZYST is committed to protecting any personal information about you that is held by EZYST as detailed below.
2. This privacy policy is provided to explain how and when personal information is collected, disclosed, used, stored and otherwise handled by EZYST. This policy relates to personal information collected by any means, by any technology and assumes that you are an Australian resident.
3. By using the EZYST websites (eg www.ezyst.com.au, www.ezystreet.com.au), products or services, you consent to EZYST using your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy.
Australian Privacy Principles
4. Most private sector organisations in Australia are required by law to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) (http://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-act/australian-privacy-principles) and are subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (2014). EZYST is committed to comply with these principles.
Your Personal Information
5. Personal information is defined as information or an opinion about an identifiable individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable (whether the information or opinion is true or not, and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form).
6. Any personal information which EZYST collects about you will be used and disclosed by EZYST to employees, contractors and partners of EZYST as described further below to enable EZYST to: (i) provide you with the services that you have requested, or (ii) otherwise carry out EZYST’ functions.

8. an individual’s name, phone number, email address, password for the EzySt Application, home State in Australia;
9. the deal preferences the individual specifies in the EzySt Application (eg types of offers the user likes to see, types of convenience products the user likes to buy, favourite brand, favourite site, site selection preference (eg best prices, best facilities, rewards and bonuses), favourite fuel grade, specified usual fill amount, specified loyalty program
10. the usage of the EzySt Application (eg location, offers viewed, offers redeemed, brands viewed, frequency of use etc).

EZYST may collect personal information from you in a number of ways, including but not limited to requests to receive products or services from EZYST, provide products or services to EZYST, utilise EZYST’ services, or when you communicate with EZYST by telephone, fax, writing, email or any other electronic means.
12. Any personal information collected by EZYST will have been expressly provided by yourself as may be necessary to carry out a process or service that we are providing.

EZYST also collects information regarding your use of its websites or products, including your IP Address and/or the type of operating system you use and/or the domain name of your service provider, software and hardware attributes and the webpage you request. In addition, EZYST may set and access cookies, and other similar technologies on your computer or other Internet-enabled devices. The use of cookies helps us to recognise you, improve and personalise your experience of our products and services, and measure your use of our products and services. If you do not wish for information to be collected through the use of cookies, you can disable, remove or block the use of cookies in your internet browser’s settings menu.

15. Communications by email: EZYST collects some contact information when receiving and sending emails to you.
16. EzySt Application: when setting up user accounts, authentications or authorisations, EZYST collects email addresses and deal preferences.
17. EZYST will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we hold is protected from loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised access. Your information is stored electronically and protected through the use of computer and network security technologies, such as password protection.
Deal preferences and EzySt Application usage
18. Mechants may direct that Offers are displayed to users having particular characteristics and features. The information an individual supplies into the EzySt Application via their deal preferences or usage may be used by the EzySt Application software to identify if an individual has those characteristics or not for the purposes of displaying the relevant offers. EzySt does not provide Merchants with any information that identifies an individual as having any particular usage or deal preferences. EzySt may however provided aggregated and anonymised insights about the characteristics of EzySt users in general to third parties.
No direct marketing by EzySt Merchants
19. We do not permit your personal information supplied in the EzySt Application to be used by Merchants or other third parties for the purposes of sending you direct marketing communications outside of the EzySt Application. We may however send you communications on behalf of Merchants from time to time.
Loyalty programs and membership associations
20. Where an individual identifies themselves as belonging to a particular loyalty program or membership association, EzySt may use the personal information provided by that individual from time to time to verify with the relevant operator of the loyalty program or membership association that the individual is in fact a current member.
External Links
21. Although our website and the EzySt Application only looks to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users are advised adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout our website or the EzySt Application. (External links are clickable text / banner / image links to other websites). EZYST cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite their best efforts. Users should therefore note they click on external links at their own risk and EZYST cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.
Social Media Platforms
22. Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that EZYST participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.
23. Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate / engage upon them with due care and caution in regard to their own privacy and personal details. EZYST will never ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact them through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.
24. EZYST may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.
Access to your personal information
25. You can gain access to personal information that EZYST holds about you. EZYST will handle requests for access to your personal information in accordance with the APPs.
26. EZYST will deal with all requests for access to personal information as soon as EZYST is reasonably able. Requests for a large amount of information, or information which is not currently in use, may take some time before a response can be given.
27. To request access to our personal information, please submit a request in writing using the contact form on the EzySt website (www.ezyst.com.au). Please provide as much information as possible regarding the business entity, department or person to whom you believe your personal information has been provided, and when. This will allow EZYST to process your request faster. Depending on the circumstances, you may be forwarded the information by mail or email, or you may be required to personally inspect your records at the appropriate place. You will be given the opportunity to correct any personal information that is no longer accurate.
Changing our privacy policy
28. From time to time it may be necessary for EZYST to review and revise our privacy policy. EZYST reserves the right to change our privacy policy at any time. EZYST may notify you about changes to this privacy policy by posting an updated version on the EZYST website: www.ezyst.com.au.
Complaints
29. If you believe that your privacy has been infringed or a breach of the APPs has occurred, you are entitled to complain. All complaints should initially be in writing to the form on the EzySt website (www.ezyst.com.au). EZYST will respond to your complaint as soon as possible, within 14 working days and attempt to resolve the complaint within 30 days.
